Running on Startup

By default, AppSwitcher does not start with Windows. To enable startup:

1. Open Settings (double-click the tray icon).
2. Go to the About tab.
3. Toggle Launch at startup on.

This creates a shortcut for AppSwitcher in your Windows startup folder. No Task Scheduler or admin rights are required.

Note

If you are using the portable version, make sure the executable stays in the same location — the startup entry points to the exact path where it was when you enabled the setting.

Tray Icon

AppSwitcher lives entirely in the system tray. Here’s what you can do from there:

Action	Result
Double-click	Open Settings
Right-click	Open context menu
Context → Settings	Open Settings
Context → Exit	Quit AppSwitcher

Hiding from the Taskbar

AppSwitcher never appears in the taskbar — it is a tray-only application by design. If the tray icon is not visible, check the hidden icons area (the ^ arrow in your taskbar).

To keep it always visible, drag it out of the overflow area onto the main taskbar.
